The Mini Magnetic Base A is typically used for metalworking and other projects involving machinery. Magnetic bases help with setting up workpieces in various types of machines such as surface grinders or milling machines. The vertical post and rod in the magnetic base is connected by swiveling snugs or connectors, which allows free motion of the arm so that the dial indicator can be easily moved into position on the workpiece.
